Yatra Nepal, together with its affiliates and subsidiaries, provides hotel, flight, bus bookings, and other related travel products and services (collectively, "Travel Services").
By accessing or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use our services.
1. Travel Services
1.1 Aggregation of Travel Products Yatra Nepal aggregates various travel products and services provided by third-party providers, including but not limited to:
1.2 Information Accuracy and Responsibility (a) Information provided by third-party providers is presented in good faith, (b) Users must independently verify all information provided on the website before making a booking decision. (c) Terms and conditions specific to each travel product must be carefully reviewed prior to confirming your booking.
2. Travel Products
2.1 Product Terms In addition to these terms, third-party providers (airlines, hotels, bus services, etc.) have their own terms and conditions. You agree to comply fully with these additional terms.
2.3 Flight and Bus Services Yatra Nepal acts as an intermediary for flight and bus bookings. Users are bound by terms and conditions set by airlines and bus providers, including their schedules, cancellations, or delays.
2.4 Hotels Yatra Nepal facilitates hotel bookings through third-party agreements. Users must adhere to hotel-specific terms and conditions, including additional charges payable directly to the hotel (e.g., local taxes, service fees, minibar charges, etc.).
2.4 Packaged Holidays Packaged holidays offered by third-party providers include accommodation, transport, and activities. Additional costs (local taxes, resort fees, etc.) must be paid directly to the provider or hotel.
2.5 Car Rentals and Vehicle Hire Car rental services are contracted directly with third-party providers. Users must comply with local driving laws in Nepal, ensure adequate insurance coverage, and handle any claims directly with the provider.
3. Payment and Refund Policies
3.1 Payment All payments are processed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Bookings must be fully paid to confirm reservations. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and local e-wallets (e.g., eSewa, Khalti).
3.2 Payment Authorization and Verification Users authorize Yatra Nepal to verify credit/debit card details and conduct anti-fraud checks. Failure to verify payment details may lead to cancellation of bookings.
3.3 Refunds Refunds depend on terms set by third-party providers. Processing refunds may take up to 12 weeks. Yatra Nepal facilitates refunds but cannot expedite processes beyond its control.
4. Changes and Cancellations
4.1 General Yatra Nepal reserves the right to amend bookings due to third-party provider errors or unforeseen circumstances. Users must bear any additional charges arising from these changes.
4.2 Hotel Cancellations Hotel cancellations must be made according to the cancellation policy indicated on your booking confirmation. Penalties may apply based on timing and hotel policies.
4.3 Package Cancellations Changes or cancellations to package components must follow guidelines provided by each service provider. Yatra Nepal will facilitate communication but is not responsible for penalties imposed by providers.
5. Fees
5.1 Service Fees Service fees are applied to bookings for handling costs, transaction processing, and fraud prevention measures. These fees will be clearly shown at checkout.
5.2 Cancellation Fees Amendments or cancellations may incur fees based on third-party provider policies. All fees are clearly stated during the booking and cancellation process.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1 Liability Limitations Yatra Nepal is not liable for losses resulting from third-party provider failures, delays, cancellations, or inaccuracies in information.
6.2 Indemnification You agree to indemnify Yatra Nepal, its affiliates, and providers against claims arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of the website, or infringement of third-party rights.
7. Additional Terms Specific to Nepal
7.1 Travel Documentation Ensure you carry valid identification issued by government photo ID (National ID, Passport, Driving License) required by local authorities and providers.
7.2 Compliance with Local Regulations Travelers must respect local laws, customs, and traditions, including dress codes and cultural practices, especially when visiting religious or historical sites.
8. Hotel-Specific Terms
8.1 Occupancy and Bedding Room rates are based on requested occupancy. Additional bedding must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and additional charges.
8.2 Special Requests and Assistance Special requests (dietary, accessibility, or room preferences) must be communicated clearly at booking but cannot always be guaranteed.
9. Liability and Limitations
Yatra Nepal limits its liability strictly to the cost of services provided through the platform. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. General Provisions
10.1 Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved within the jurisdiction of Nepali courts.
10.2 Changes to Terms Yatra Nepal reserves the right to update these terms periodically. Any changes will be effective upon their posting on the website.
